Tri Force Heroes was released worldwide in October 2015 and received generally mixed reviews from critics. The story follows the same incarnation of Link from the aforementioned A Link Between Worlds, who this time is called forth along with two other Links by the fashion-obsessed kingdom of Hytopia to lift a curse placed on their princess, Styla, from the evil Drablands Witch. The second original Nintendo 3DS entry in The Legend of Zelda series after A Link Between Worlds, this game is the third installment in the franchise to prominently feature a multiplayer campaign after Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures, albeit this time with only three players as opposed to four, wireless and online connectivity as opposed to the prior games' use of link cables, and a stronger emphasis on cooperation rather than competition. An area will be cleared once all three players step on the Triforce gateway at the end.The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes is an action-adventure game developed by Nintendo EPD and Grezzo and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. If all hearts are lost, one life will be taken from the team. One heart will be lost when taking damage or falling off the edge of the map. Hearts are shared between all three players. Players can communicate with a numer of customized emoticons activated via the touch screen, band together using new totem mechanics to boost powers, and coordinate to solve puzzles. Multiplayer can only be played with three players simultaneously in all three modes: local (players own cartridges), download play, and online. Triforce Heroes offers local and online multiplayer for three cooperating players. Luckily, it wasn't long before this courageous young fella came passing through. As only chosen heroes may enter the witch's domain, the despicable Drablands, King Tuft issued a call to kingdoms near and far for a hero to save the day. The people of Hytopia wept for her terrible fate. Humiliated, she fell into misery and isolation. When the smoke cleared, Styla was met with a terrible sight, followed by the witch's voice in her pretty head: "A perfect outfit for a perfect princess." This cursed outfit of ultimate ugliness could not be removed no matter how the princess tried. The princess simply had to open it! Naturally, this was a HUGE mistake. The sender was unknown, and the box was brimming with an aura of mystery. One fateful day, a beautifully wrapped gift arrived at the castle.
